Overview
We're looking for a designer who works in prompts as fluently as they work in Figma. You'll build the visual template systems behind Sia — the reusable structures that turn a content plan into finished images and video, on brand, at scale.
About the Role
Sia is an AI Social Media Manager. She learns a brand, plans content, and produces every format — carousels, stories, reels, static posts, long-form video. The quality of what she makes comes down to two things: the templates behind each format, and the prompts that drive generation. That's this role. You'll design template systems, not one-off posts. A carousel template has to hold up whether the brand is a dental clinic or a fintech startup, in English or in Turkish, with two lines of copy or eight. You'll define the structure, the type hierarchy, the safe areas, the way a brand's colours and fonts drop into it — and then make sure it still looks designed when a machine fills it in. You'll also write and refine the prompts that generate the imagery inside those templates. This is real craft work: understanding why one phrasing gives you flat stock-photo lighting and another gives you something with atmosphere, building prompt structures that stay consistent across hundreds of generations, and knowing when a prompt is the wrong tool and the answer is a template constraint instead. The video side is the same problem in motion. Scene structure, pacing, how a script becomes shots, what a template needs to specify so the output holds together rather than looking like five unrelated clips. You'll work directly with the founder. What you build ships to every customer, so the feedback loop is short and the impact is visible. We're small. You'll have unusual ownership over how this whole layer of the product looks and works.
We're Looking For
- A strong visual design portfolio — layout, typography and colour that hold up under scrutiny, not just trend-following - Real fluency with image generation tools (Midjourney, Nano Banana, Flux, Seedream, Imagen or similar) — you should be able to explain why a prompt failed, not just try again - Experience designing systems rather than artefacts: templates, component libraries, design tokens, anything built to be filled in by someone or something else - Comfort with social media formats and their constraints — you know what breaks in a 9:16 crop and what a carousel needs to keep someone swiping - The judgement to tell good AI output from output that's merely impressive at first glance, and the patience to iterate until it's actually right - Self-direction. Remote, small team, no one assigning you tickets - Written English good enough to write prompts precisely and explain your reasoning
Bonus Qualifications
- Motion or video work After Effects, Premiere, or AI video tools like Veo, Runway or Kling - Experience with video generation prompting specifically, including scene and shot structure - Brand identity work: building visual systems for other people's brands, not just your own - Figma component and variable systems at a level most designers don't reach - Any background in marketing or social media management knowing what actually performs, not just what looks good - Turkish, or experience designing for multilingual output
